Hi 3rd Graders!

How was your spring break? Comment below with fun things you all did!
How are your science projects coming along? Any questions? Has the instructions document I sent helped? Leave a comment below with how your science project is going!

Make sure you push the "Publish" button once you have finished your comment so it posts onto the blog. If you have trouble leaving a comment please email me your response, so I know you have seen the blog post. :)

Here is a short video to practice the letters of the alphabet in ASL. I would like you to watch it, practice the letters and tomorrow I will post another video with a fun quiz/challenge for you to answer to see if you can recognize whose name I am finger-spelling. Have fun!

Good morning everyone,
Today I would like you to go to Storyline online and listen to the story Carla's Sandwich.  The link is listed below.  Listen to the story, and then describe for me what your unique sandwich would be.  If you make your sandwich send me pictures of it.

I also want to remind you to be reading on Raz.  I am checking how you are doing.  Here is my challenge to you.  If you read five stories on five different days and get 100 on the quiz the first time you take it I will move you up a level.  Remember I get a report saying how you are doing each time you take the test.  Good luck!https://www.storylineonline.net/

Hi everyone,  I just heard about a great website where author Mo Willems is going Doodle Lunch with Mo Willems.  He is the author of the Pigeon books.  He will teach you how to produce doodles.  I have the link below.  Give it a try and email me your doodles.  I will put them on the blog.

Hi everyone,

Today's religion question is this: One of the marks of the church is catholic.  What does catholic mean?

Pet Entertainment!

Dear 3rd Grade Friends!

With all the extra time at home I get to spend more time with my cat April Skye. She is almost 3 years old! She loves to play and entertain herself if no one wants to play or is unable to play because they are busy working on something. I thought it would be fun to post pictures or videos, or stories of our pets. If you have a pet please share in the comments section or through email any fun stories, pictures, or videos.

April was helping me grade your Math Graphs the other day.

She loves to bask in the sun. She found a very sunny spot on the futon in the sun room.

Stay healthy and enjoy the family time! Continue to send me pictures and stories of what you are all doing at home with your families, as well as updates on where you are with your science project! I miss you all!

Miss Peters's March 20 (21st) Check In

Hello 3rd Graders!

I forgot to post on here yesterday. How are all of you doing? It's barely been a week and I miss all of you so much already! How are your science projects coming? Has everyone been able to open the power point through one of the ways I sent it? Please comment and/or email me with your responses.

I have checked with Mrs. Cowart and it sounds like Mr. Evers (or maybe I) have to get your school email address linked to Google Classroom in order for it to work; I'll continue to check into that and get back to all of you on that.

Someone shared with me a fun Science "Weather School" program you may like to tune into Starting Monday at 10am with Steve Beylon from WBAY News! If you tune into it please leave a comment or email me with how it was!

Here's a link, but I'm not sure if it will work:

Here's the post:

*I just discovered that many of you are commenting on my posts! I love it! Miss Ploederl probably gets the email update for it, which is why I just discovered it. Haha. I'll check those more often!*

Hi everyone.  I hope your reading and book report is going well.  I am listing a couple of trivia questions to answer just for fun.

1.  What is the name of first planet from the sun?
2.  What is the term for a baby goat?
3.  Who invented the telephone?
4.  How many bones are there in the human body?
5.  What is an elephant tusk made of?

Goo luck!!!
