  5. I have George Washington. His dad died at age 48. When his dad died, his stepbrothers got most of the property. His family did not have enough money for him to go to school in England.

  7. Journey- Harriet Tubman learned about the underground railroad. This is not a real railroad, it’s a secret path that slaves used to escape to the North. Even though she knew it would be a risk she went alone because her family were too scared. She then helped free other slaves and never got caught.
