May 9th - 13th

It was great to see so many of you at Blooming Bonanza!  Thanks for making it such a great weekend and a huge success!

We have 11 new additions to our classroom.  They are so cute and fluffy!!  Eleven out of eighteen chicks is a great hatch and we are very excited!  We let them run around on newspapers today while we sat in a circle on the floor.

In math we will continue to work on fractions.  In order to earn the ice cream party all students need to have their multiplication facts mastered by May 18th.  We are so close to having the entire class be able to come to the party.  Keep working on these at home even if they finished the tests.  Next year they need know these in order to succeed in harder multiplication and division problems.

We will have a spelling list coming home this week.

We are still working on researching our habitats for Science and making mobiles.
